I have Aston2 v.2.0.4 and the weather widget has stopped working suddenly. Does anyone have an idea on fixing it?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but still no joy. Maybe editing the xml file will do the trick? Any help is appreciated...

JJ Ying has agreed to let me release it. Will do it when I'm done. Still some bugs I having a hard time to resolve :/ Unless someone with knowledge of themeing wants to help me, it will take some time.

Hi there. I am new to Aston and have begun using Aston 2. I just love it, but I would love to see more feminine themes for us ladies. There are a few Aston 1 themes that would be great if they could be adjusted and updated for Aston 2. Fairy Forest v.2.0 and Easter Spring by cherryfairy 15. Any fairy related themes would be great. Also, Flowerland and Lillies V2. A few non-girly themes that would be great are Etherlords, Lord of the Rings (movie), and Harry Potter (later movies). The wallpapers aren't as crucial as the colors and style for the ladies' themes. Thanks for your consideration.

I'm working on the Resmon (System monitor) now.

Is there any way to order text, images and objects on Z-axis. Trying to have text on top of it all. I have first the background, then a image, and on top of those two I want to have text.

The layout now looks like this:
Top = Image
Middle = Text
Background = background image.

The layout I want:
Top = Text
Middle = Image
Background = Background image.

Have read through the skinning manual, but I have a hard time understand it. Seems I'm stupid.

I only have one Aston 2 license and I run it on one of my XP machines. So I have no experience yet of running Aston 2 under Windows 7. Although if you let the wallpaper change, does it keep changing after a certain amount of time? If so, you can turn off Windows 7 from constantly changing the wallpaper. I would think that would take care of it. If not, perhaps I'll buy more Aston 2 licenses and find out what is going on.

I have Aston 2 running on my system (unregistered) I apply the observer theme and it stays on for a little while, then the wallpaper goes back to the old windows 7 wallpaper. All the rest of the Aston tabs and widgets stay on...but the wallpaper goes back, All I have to do is right click and the theme comes back...However I want to purchase this program, I want the damn wallpaper to stay the way I want it....Help would be appreciated, Iam obviously very new to this...I hope I've posted in the right spot...I'm new to that also...thanks

Working on a new theme called Xaphire. It is a Windowblinds theme I trying to "port" to Aston. I will release it if given permission from the author JJ.Ying.

I'm long from finish it as making themes for Aston is more complicated than I thought. I have used several Aston themes as templates and some object is still visible on the screen shoot: bronsaldersvagenDOTse/Eazy/xaphireDOTpng

You have to replace DOT with . Cant post links it seems.
