dell laptop with aston

Okay i have installed the aston program and had problems with shell swapper working, so i just terminated explorer.exe and ran aston.exe and it works awesome, as i work long hours i usually just leave my computer on playing music at night, so the problem is im using aston on my dell computer, which uses a program called Dell Quickset. This program controls some of the functions of the computer keyboard, brightness and sound and so on. so when i try to turn sound up, down or do anything with the quick buttons at th front of my computer, dell quickset doesnt want to work. I know its a problem with aston bcuz it works fine in explorer and i have tried reinstalling but with no luck... can anyone help, or link me another program that can control my sound with quick buttons?

Help would be appreciated!

Not sure if I quite understand what you want. But perhaps try Aston Options -> Other -> [Enable] Multimedia keyboard support for Aston?

I had a very similar problem with my Dell Laptop, and the Multimedia Keyboard option worked for me. Good luck!
