ALERT TO ALL AdAware 6.0 USERS
It has become known that the the definition set for LavaSoft AdAware6 dated 25th March 2004 is configured in such a way that the following registry key is marked as a possibly exploited vulnerability:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE:SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon"Shell" ()

Until it can be determined what effect removing this key has upon the functioning of Aston, it is advised that you place this item on your ignore list and DO NOT delete/modify this key. It is possible that doing so may affect the booting stability of an Aston enable computer, and may POSSIBLY render the machine thus adjusted unbootable by inexperienced users.

In short, check the key to ensure it is pointing to either Aston.exe, explorer.exe or ShellSwp.exe, and if it is, then add the key to the ignore list.
