I have AltDesk running with Aston. I am working on Desktop 1 but have an application running on Desktop 2 (ie - Pacific Poker). Now any time it's my turn on Poker, regardless of whether I'm on Desktop 1 or 2, Poker will pop up. I'm not sure if this is a design with AltDesk or not, or if there's anything that I can even do, but I'd really appreciate any help or information that anyone can give me - thanks in advance.

I had this problem as well, where windows would steel focus from another desktop. A program you might want to look into if you have Windows XP (Its a PowerToy for Windows XP from microsoft) is called TweakUI. There is an option somewhere in that program that turns off the ability for other programs to steel focus. That way NOTHING gets in your way when your doing something. This takes a little time to get used to though.. for example messaging programs.. you no longer have new windows popping up in frount of you when people IM you. And if your on another desktop, you dont see anything flashing to let you know someone has IM'ed you. So, you REALLY have to listen to the sounds (if you have any).
