Is there a widgets etc. compatability section?
I mean a place to read about add ons people have tried and seemed compatible with aston. What litestep plugins have you tried that worked.
I have "Pact Ghosts" on my computer and was surprised that two of the elements i tried (Pact quickly - access to folders and Pact desktop which gives you an alternative desktop) worked. I think the programme is a bit ancient as i did a web search and could not find it any more

I don't know if there really are many people that try plugins from other programs to see if they work with Aston, but if they did and posted their findings this would be the section that they would appear in. You would have to go through all the posts to find them though (or search).

I don't really think many people try litestep plugins. The only one I know that Aston has is the start menu (bet you didn't know that ).

The LiteStep plugins supported by earlier versions of Aston were wharf plug-ins (the ones placed into toolbars). But we are not sure any of them are still used. The matter is that their compatibility with Aston was needed long ago, when Aston had little plug-ins of its own. Now, when their number significantly increased, GS is not aimed at supporting Litestep plug-ins, so the developers don't test it any more.

Really, since no one tests them anymore, the best way to find out if they are compatible or not would be to test the ones you want yourself. Of course this in doing this you run the risk of playing with bugs

Yeah I think Rocketdock is cool but never seem to get use to that kind of apps.

Ah, I see now. It looks like fun to play around with, but I like Aston's options better.
