I was actually playing around with Aston as well before and I figured I should report what I found before:
1. Although this does involve Altdesk, the bug actually occurs on Aston's side so I figured I'd post it here. If you open up a "Notebook", then switch desktops (leaving the notebook open), Then return to the previous desktop you were on, the notebook still remains on screen (even though it should close when you mouse away from it). You may want to have the Aston installer add a sticky window/exception "Notebook" to Altdesk upon installation (if AltDesk is detected).
2. For some reason, the window preview for all pidgin windows are completely black.
EDIT: Here's a third one:
For some reason, sometimes the colour depth drops to 256 colours on the aston panels. I don't know how to replicate this but here is the result
This image has not been modified in any way and my colour depth is set to 32bit in the Control Panel->Display Properties->Settings. The rest of Aston looks fine. Just the sidebars get funky. To fix it, I simply have to force them to refresh by entering the "edit element" menu and clicking OK. I don't know what causes this initially.

1) I actually like that behavior.
2) I see this on other applications from time to time.
3) I never seen this on many computers. I would be curious to know what kind of hardware you have. Especially for video?

1) Ok. I can live with it then. I just added the exception manually.
2)I see. I guess previewing doesn't work with everything
3) This is my work PC. Here are the specs you need:
Processor: AMD Althon 64 X2 (2.3Ghz / core)
RAM: 896 MB
Video Card: Geforce 6150SE nForce 430
I assume Aston uses GDI+ though just like the regular explorer shell so I didn't think video card mattered that much.
