Taskbar questions

I'm testing aston 2, it appear very good now, but I have two question about the taskbar.
If I move the taskbar to left side the aspect change and it loose the background, become very large and appear like floating widgets: is possible to have a sizable and skinned taskbar on left?
Another thing, I don't like the W7 stile with big icons and no text, it's useful for touchpad but is very bad for a normal use, there is any options for that?

We are aware of taskbar issue. We shall try to deal with it asap.
Possibly an option might be added to switch on/off taskbar icons' text.
