Hi there,
I´m using the trial of Aston 1.8.1 and I link it very much, but I have a problem.
I activated both toolbars, but they´re not always on top of all other windows, althoug I have set the flag in the toolbars´ options.
Does anybody have an idea?

Thanx,
Silencer

Hi there,
you have probably found one of the few known bugs in Aston 1.8.1 - I spent some time working with the guys at Aston to reproduce the error in definite terms so they could fix it, but couldn't do it with 100% certainty. If you CAN, email them at support@astonshell.com and I'm sure they will be happy to restart work on a fix. If you like the general features etc of Aston, and can live without the topbar function, then you might want to try Aston 1.7.1, which as far as I can tell is almost totally bug free (IM me and I can send you a copy). In the interim, play with it, and if you like it, design a theme or pay the registration fee for an unlock key.

Good Luck!

it was in a previous post i found by using the search function *nudge nudge* and someone said that for some reason checking it does the opposite so have it unchecked (i had the same problem too and this worked for me)

What is the deal with the registration key- if you design a decent theme and upload it you will get a free key?

You are correct Sir!
To get a "free" key, you'll need to design an original and appealing theme and load it up to one of the skin sites (a list of example sites is available at http://www.astonshell.com/themes) and then drop a note explaining your theme (and with links to a screenshot and the download) to support@astonshell.com - If they like it, they will send you a free key. This only applies for the first key, and of course, if you've already paid for Aston, you'll not get a second key (I don't think so anyway).

So let's see your work!!
regards,

But the thing with the theme and the key...I´ll work on that, promised Very Happy
