|
|
Hi!
I've just installed Astonshell and I have a problem. Desktop, start menu are okay, but appearance of folders is still the same as in standard XP... - upper bar and so on.
How to make it like in the aston theme?
Thanks in advance for help

If applications' windows appearance is what you mean, than Aston doesn't change them.

|

That's exactly the same question I wanted to know. I downloaded Aston 2.0.3 x 32 to use the most fabulous XP skin I've ever seen...Solaris. I'm disappointed that I can't change folders, menus, etc. to match it.
Long term plans are to build a completely new skin by saving a copy of this one and tearing the other apart. Would there be another piece of software that I could utilize to do that? I've played a bit with SkinStudio, but not enough to know if there is any way of making this file readable in SS.
Your kind attention would be much appreciated.

There are some applications which change windows' appearance. We can't advise you about those.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Helenistic. I'd sort of concluded that, but your confirmation will save me some time.
Peace,
Mally
