When I download a theme, the theme file goes into My Downloads folder.
Where does it need to go? Do all the other related files need to go into the same folder?

Klick on this file and it will be automatically added to themes list.

This all I get in the way of panels. The taskbar and side panels look like this no matter what theme I use. What am I doing wrong?
I am using Windows7

Change skin... -> you'll see 2 sections: "Menu" and "Panel". Change the skin in these 2 sections.

I do all that but it doesn't change anything but the menu skin. It's like something is preventing the taskbar and panels from changing.

Do you have this skin in "Panel" section?

I found four folders (Desktop, Menu, Panel & Theme) located in C:\Users\Hurricane\AppData\Roaming\Aston2\Skins
The only folder that has anything in it is Themes. I've downloaded several themes and they are all there.
I was thinking the theme files contained everything but I realized they are not zip files, so the skins must be separate.
Where do I get the skins?

Сlick on the downloaded skin and it will be automatically added to themes list. (menu/panel sections)

I wish it were that simple. I've tried everything including changing my firewall settings, and my virus scanning exceptions to included Aston2. I've downloaded skins from Aston Menu and tried that approach.
There is something not letting the skins apply to the widgets and taskbar. They do change from Explorer images to a generic gray color but without the theme overlay. The Start menu looks great and will change to any theme I choose.
Any other thoughts?

Did you make changes in the "panel" section? (look at the pic)

You can see from my photo the panel I have selected to go with the theme. The widgets and taskbar do not change, but the main Start menu looks fine. Also the window borders are still applying a theme from the standard Windows Resources folder.
I noticed my Aston Theme Wizard doesn't have the file structure on the left side as your example. I have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times, I'm not sure if the folders exist where the themes need to go. Can you show me the proper file tree? I will manually create a path to a folder and place them there.

Well, I'm still dead in the water. I am confused about the products. What exactly do I need to make the themes work? Do I need to install Aston Menu first? Any other programs needed?
I've tried installing Aston Menu which does it's thing perfectly, but when I install the themes program, it installs in the same Aston2 destination folder. Is it supposed to go there or in its own folder?
After the theme program is installed, the window panels, widgets, and taskbar become gray blocks with no overlay. There's got to be a setting somewhere that is preventing that from happening.
I even got rid of Webshots, a stupid program I thought was interfering with the installation. It wasn't easy, but it is no longer a factor. Still, the results have not changed.
What puzzles me is about a year ago, I downloaded VirtualGold from giveawayoftheday.com, including the panels to go with it. It worked very well until a computer glitch that required a previous restore point. After that it wouldn't work even after a reinstall.....go figure.

Question: Could Windows PowerShell have anything to do with my problem? Do I need to delete it?
Do you have this problem with all skins?
