Running XP SP2 on this machine and I don't know what Maxthon 3.3.8.2000 changed, but I couldn't get Maxthon to start up under Aston2 Shell 2.0.4 after a reboot. Even under Safe Mode when Aston Shell starts up too. Went back to the earliest System Restore and still Maxthon (browser) won't start. Went back to Maxthon 3.3.6.2000 and still no go.

Being tempted to go back to one of my earlier cloned drives, I know this trick to run both Aston Shell and Explorer Shell at the same time. And that is with Microsoft's Windows Sysinternals Desktops. Maxthon would startup fine on the Explorer desktop. Closed Maxthon and switched to the Aston Shell desktop and now Maxthon would run just fine. Closed down Desktops (by logging off and back on again). And now Maxthon runs normally under Aston Shell.
