Hi!
I noticed that the Qlaunch.plg doesn't support big images, like in XP you can choose between big and small(default).
Hmm, not a high priority update but still Wink

I forgot about other things I had to post... oh well.

And I would really like that _all_ LiteStep plugins would work with Aston. Would give an enormous boost Cool
There are so few plugins for Aston Sad

You're right, there are few plug ins for Aston, but there are a lot of great 3rd party add-ons that are reliable, small, and in many case free.

I use;

    Rainlendar - desktop skinnable calendar
peepshowlite - cut holes in windows to underlying ones (bypasses Astons lack of drag n drop)
Weather Channel Desktop Weather - figure it out!
    Console - desktop console
Power Menu 1.5.0 - Tons of extra settings, including minimise to tray and always on top
Mailwasher 2.x - checks the email, and scans/ rejects spam and some viruses too
Send to Tools - adds a bucket load of options to the send to menu, including send to "run" or send to (specified) folder
rjh extensions - additional context menu additions such as shred, encrypt, duplicate, print directory list and more.
Displayset - an extended appearance setting program, allowing more customisation of individual elements, such as separate fonts for active and inactive title bar
Multicracker - a few tools there, my most used being the additional control of save and save as appearance
Winamp Browser Bar - Used somewhat oddly by assigning hotkeys to the program elements and controlling winamp via keyboard rather than the intended IE browser buttons (which I removed)
ShortPopUp - a very small custom menu program assignable to shortcuts, and can be configured to do almost anything!

I use others, but these are the main ones, and these are all free - though mailwasher is so exceptional, it's really worth donating. What I've found is that for almost every need, there is a utility for it, if only your are prepared to search (hell, there's even Madotate - a 3d windows arranger!). If anyone would like any of the above programs, drop me a note, and I'll hook you up.

Regards,

Oh now I remember, when Aston loads as Windows starts, it doesn't have enough time to load that system tray where the icons are, so some programs crash at the start. Bottom right trayicons I mean.

It should be changed so that Aston first loads itself completely and after that loads the startup programs.

I think the bug is like that, but not completely sure...

I tried Rainlendar, on of The_PC_Mechanic's suggestions, and it is a great little tool. I recommend it to those of you who are wondering about it. Very Happy

Hi There!
The items I listed are not plug-ins. They are 3rd party applications that provide additional functionality to a windows operating system. I didn't provide links because these can all be found very easily by plugging in the name of the program into any search engine.

However, as I'd said before, if you want any of these, PM me, as most of the installation files for these programs are so small that I can send them to you by email.

Regards,
